  • Centers for Public Health Preparedness Resource Center - A free online repository of terrorism and emergency response training and educational resources developed by the CDC-funded Centers for Public Health Preparedness.

  • BioMed Central - An open access publishing house providing free access to peer-reviewed biomedical research. BioMed Central offers access to 158 journals, many in the field of public health.

  • Emergency Information Infrastructure Partnership (EIIP) Virtual Library Archive - Archive of transcripts from online interviews with emergency preparedness and management experts. Not current, 1998-2001 only.

  • EQUIPh - Sponsored by the National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO), EQUIPh is an online database for public health preparedness resources developed by local public health departments, academic institutions and governmental agencies.

  • HazLit - Library catalog of the Natural Hazards Research and Applications Information Center at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

  • HeLiD - Catalog of the World Health Organization's Health Library for Disasters available via the The New Zealand Digital Library at the University of Waikato.

  • Public Health Preparedness Database: A Rand Health Project - A searchable database of exercises used to evaluate public health preparedness.

  • PubMed - Developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the National Library of Medicine (NLM), this database provides free access to MEDLINE, NLM's database of more than 12 million bibliographic citations and abstracts in the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, health care systems, and preclinical sciences.
